Security Precautions

The security of your data is important to us but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

To protect your personal information from unauthorized access or disclosure, loss or misuse we adopt reasonable security practices and procedures, in line with international standards ISO/IEC 27001:2013 which is recognized as one of the highest information security standards. Whenever you access your account information, we offer the use of a secure server. The transmission of information is not completely secure for reasons beyond our control. We adopt industry standard security measures and keep updating our systems from time to time to protect your personal information against any hacking or virus dissemination. However, by using the Platform, the users accept the security implications of data transmission over the internet and the World Wide Web which cannot always be guaranteed as completely secure, and therefore, there would always remain certain inherent risks regarding use of the Platform. Users are responsible for ensuring the protection of login and password records for their account. Please note, you are entitled to ask us to provide you with this information up to two times in a rolling twelve-month period. When you make this request, the information provided may be limited to the personal information we collected about you in the previous 12 months. To delete your personal information. If you make this request, we will delete the personal information we hold about you as of the date of your request from our records and direct any service providers to do the same. pakhira.com is available only to persons who can form a legally binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from children under the age of 18 years. If anyone shares any personal information of children under the age of 18 years, he/she represents that you have the authority to do so and permit us to use the information in accordance with this Privacy Policy

Payments

We may provide paid products and/or services within Service. In that case, we use third-party services for payment processing (e.g. payment processors).

We will not store or collect your payment card details. That information is provided directly to our third-party payment processors whose use of your personal information is governed by their Privacy Policy. 

At PAKHIRA, we use following payment options:

  • Valid Credit / debit Cards (VISA or Master)Valid Debit cards (VISA or Master) may be used, if your issuing bank permits you to use these online Secure Card payments. We accepts all Visa and Master credit cards and debit cards and is committed to provide a safe transaction environment by using a secure process for payment handling.

  • Cash on delivery option is also available on pakhira.com

  • To enhance security of your payment data, you are automatically redirected to the acquiring bank payment gateway website, where all required transaction details (i.e. credit/debit card number, expiration date, CVV etc.) are captured on the secured payment page, and encrypted using Industrial Strength Cipher, and are securely transmitted to your Card Issuing bank for obtaining an authorization decision. At no time during the purchase process or thereafter, does PAKHIRA has access to, or stores, your complete card account information. For more details on this please refer our Privacy Policy

  • For more security purpose, we have enabled our system  for Verified by VISA and Mastercard Secure Code facility, applicable to VISA and MASTERCARD respectively. This is an additional security measure necessitating you to enter a password which only you, the card holder, can have access to. Also, pakhira.com does not capture any such passwords and you enter this directly into a bank secure system.

  • It is not uncommon for a request for credit / debit card authorization to fail once or twice before the card is finally authorized. This happens due to problems with your card issuing banks servers. You must try again till you get a successful notification.

  • At times the bank payment servers or your issuing banks payment servers may be down, in which case a message will be posted informing you of the same. Under such circumstances, you can continue shopping and add items to the bag which would then be saved and you can come back later and complete the payment transaction within 24 hours.

  • If you are using a card issued by a bank outside India to place your order and if your card is not registered for Verified by Visa or Mastercard Secure Code facility, you would have to send us a scanned copy of the Front side of the card used to place the order. The scanned copy should be sent to pakhira.contact@gmail.com. Please mention your Order reference number in the subject line of the email.

  • Payment on your card bill will appear in your local currency (as per the norms of your card issuing bank). Your card will be charged in Indian currency as per prevailing rate of exchange and charge policies of your card issuer.

 

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.

We will let you know via email and/or a prominent notice on our Service, prior to the change becoming effective and update “effective date” at the top of this Privacy Policy.
